Return & Refund Policy
Before any return, please contact our customer service by email at contact@petitvadrouilleur.com to facilitate the processing of your request.
ARTICLE 1 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from the receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify Petit Vadrouilleur of their decision to withdraw by email or by any other written means clearly expressing their wish to withdraw.
ARTICLE 2 – RETURN CONDITIONS
Returned products must:
-
be in their original condition,
-
not have been used or washed,
-
be complete (accessories, instructions, original packaging),
-
show no signs of wear or deterioration.
Any incomplete, damaged, used or soiled product returned may be refused a refund.
ARTICLE 3 – PRODUCTS EXCLUDED FROM THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply in particular to:
-
customized products or products manufactured according to customer specifications,
-
goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, particularly training pants, underwear, and swimwear,
-
perishable or rapidly expiring products.
These exclusions are strictly limited to cases provided for by current regulations.
ARTICLE 4 – RETURN PROCEDURE
To facilitate the processing of returns, the customer is invited to contact customer service before sending any items.
After validation of the return request, Petit Vadrouilleur will communicate the applicable return procedure to the customer, which may include:
-
the transmission of a return label,
-
or the communication of a return address accompanied by shipping instructions.
The return method is determined by Petit Vadrouilleur based on the nature of the product, the destination, and logistical constraints. The customer agrees to follow the communicated procedure.
The package must be carefully packed and shipped according to the instructions provided.
ARTICLE 5 – RETURN COSTS
In accordance with Article L221-23 of the Consumer Code, return costs are the responsibility of the customer when exercising the right of withdrawal.
Petit Vadrouilleur does not have a return warehouse in Europe, so returns are made internationally. These return costs are at your expense (for informational purposes, Colissimo International rates are generally between €30.00 and €85.00 depending on the weight of the package). The final amount may vary depending on the weight, destination, and carrier you select.
If Petit Vadrouilleur provides a return label, the corresponding cost, determined notably by the weight and dimensions of the package, is automatically deducted from the refund amount.
The customer is responsible for the returned package until its effective receipt by Petit Vadrouilleur. It is recommended to use a delivery service with tracking.
For any return of an item valued at over €75, the customer is strongly advised to take out transport insurance with the carrier to cover any risks of loss or damage to the package during transit.
ARTICLE 6 – REFUND
After receipt and inspection of the returned package, the refund is processed using the original payment method used for the order.
In accordance with article L221-24 of the Consumer Code, the refund will be issued within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from the receipt of the returned product.
A confirmation email will be sent once the refund has been processed. Additional banking time may be required before the funds effectively appear in the customer's account.
ARTICLE 7 – EXCHANGES
Petit Vadrouilleur does not offer direct exchanges.
To obtain another item, the customer must return the item in accordance with the procedure above and then place a new order.
ARTICLE 8 – DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS OR ORDER ERROR
In case of receiving a defective, damaged, or non-compliant product, the customer must contact customer service within 7 days of receipt, providing photos of the product and a description of the problem.
In accordance with articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code concerning the legal guarantee of conformity, Petit Vadrouilleur will offer:
-
either a replacement of the product,
-
or a refund via the original payment method.
A voucher valid for 12 months may be offered only with the explicit agreement of the customer.
Return costs are covered by Petit Vadrouilleur in the event of a proven defect or preparation error.
ARTICLE 9 – LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY
The customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the Consumer Code.
This guarantee covers conformity defects existing at the time of delivery and applies for a period of two years from the receipt of the product.
In this context, the customer may request repair, replacement, or, failing that, reimbursement of the product.
ARTICLE 10 – UNCLAIMED OR REFUSED PACKAGE
A package not collected at a relay point or refused by the customer is not considered an exercise of the right of withdrawal.
After the package is returned to Petit Vadrouilleur, the customer can choose between:
-
reshipment at their expense,
-
or a refund via the original payment method, after receipt of the package.
No reshipment or refund can be made until the package has been received by Petit Vadrouilleur.
